Ever wonder what happens to your recycling after it leaves East Shore? Join the Earth and Climate Action Ministry (ECAM) Team for an informative and eye-opening tour of Republic Services, the company that handles East Shore’s recycling.

Before the tour, we encourage you to watch the short recycling video produced by ECAM following our previous visit. It’s a great refresher on what can—and cannot—be recycled. Then bring your questions! Together, we can learn how to recycle more effectively and reduce waste.

Let’s turn our commitment to caring for the Earth into informed action. We hope you’ll join us!

We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
