About this event

Background The Global Cardiovascular Health Program (GCHP) at the University of Washington aims to promote interdisciplinary research and education initiatives to improve health outcomes of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death and disability globally. The mission of the GCHP is to drive improved outcomes in cardiovascular health globally through interdisciplinary research and education, and equitable partnerships based on collaboration and mutual respect. Overview In line with the Global Cardiovascular Health Program strategy, we host interdisciplinary quarterly research conference series. This research conference will take place on Tuesday, Nov 17th (with a virtual option for those not able to attend in person) at 8:30-10am and will focus on the intersection of global cardiovascular health and pediatrics.

This research series by the GCHP will bring together students, UW faculty and stakeholders in partner institutions and countries to share research findings, perspectives and innovations. The conference will also provide an opportunity for the attendees to engage and collaborate.

Listed by Department of Global Health (Trumba), gathered by the Seattle events calendar.
